Organization Defaults & Navigation

Navigation Path: Sidebar → Experience ManagerOrganization

The Organization section establishes global default navigation menus, customer account page structures, neutral login frames, and visual site maps for your platform.


1. Authoring Navigation Menus & Header/Footer Chrome

Each audience surface has its own navigation menu and header/footer chrome configuration (tab=org:storefront:menu, tab=org:marketing:menu, tab=org:servicedesk:menu, tab=org:papers:menu).

2. Neutral Account Chrome (tab=org:account:chrome)

The Account Surface Chrome provides a clean, neutral header and footer frame for shared customer identity screens: Login, Sign-Up, Forgot Password, and Profile Settings.

[!NOTE] Why keep Account Chrome neutral? A visitor logging in might be a shopper, a blog reader, or a support user. Removing distracting audience navigation (like shop search bars or promotional banners) keeps the authentication screen clean and focused.

Configurable Controls

  • Header Brand Logo Position: Left-aligned or Centered logo placement.
  • Minimal Header Navigation Links: Simple links (e.g. "Back to Main Site" or "Help").
  • Footer Legal Links: Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions links.

3. Interactive Visual Site Map (tab=org:sitemap)

The Site Map tab provides a complete visual tree of every public page on your platform, organized by Organization defaults and child Projects:

Site Map Features & Actions

  • Visual Hierarchy: View all active customer pages grouped under their respective audience surface.
  • One-Click Page Launchers: Click Edit Page on any row inside the Site Map to open that page directly in the Page Builder Studio.
